The Newport Touchdown Club is completely volunteer-run, and we acknowledge that each of you has different capacity for volunteering. Below are just some of the ways you can help - Big AND small. We are always open to new ideas, as well!

Become a board memeber
Meetings are once a month, with email communication among the board in-between. You can be part of the decision-making! Join a committee
There are several sub-committees to help keep things running! Some require more time than others. Current sub-committees include: Merchandise (ongoing) Two-a-Day Feedings (August only) Concessions (at Home Games) Senior Knight (one night only) Thursday Team Dinners (every Thursday during the season) Fundraising (ongoing) Picture Day (one day in August) Thursday night team dinner
A favorite for the players! Every Thursday night after practice, the team gathers to share a meal. Volunteers are needed to coordinate and pickup food, serve, and clean up. It is about a 1.5-hour commitment (max) every Thursday of the season.
concession stand
The concession stand is open for all home games, and requires 6 volunteers per game. It is helpful if you have your food handler's permit, but not required. Ideally, we will have Futures parents running the concession stand during Varsity games, and Varsity parents running the concession stand during Futures games, so everyone has a chance to watch their kid play. The concession stand is a BIG fundraiser for the team! merch booth
We have previously sold merch out of the concession stand, but we'd like to move that to a new, dedicated location at Home games. We're also exploring collaborating with Band, Cheer and Drill to sell all merch in one spot and share the responsibility. fundraising efforts
Fundraising is an ongoing effort, and we're looking for folks who have experience raising money for a club or team. We hope to do much of this work over email. |

Many of our players' families speak languages other than English, and are learning how American Football works. Could you help us translate emails or documents, or help other parents learn about football? community outreach

Sponsorships are a big part of our fundraising. Do you have experience working with and advertising for sponsors? We'd love your help! final score reporter
Our Social Media Manager is looking for someone to text them the final score of the games (both Futures and Varsity) to post on social media. It will take you 30 seconds at the end of the game! Camera operator

direct Donation
Some families do not have the time to volunteer, but still want to support their player, the team, and the program. You can give a direct donation here. Corporate matching

Newport touchdown club
The Newport Touchdown Club is a separate and independent 5013c organization operating under the umbrella of the Knight Athletic Booster Association (KABA), whose mission is to support the Newport High School Football program in Bellevue, WA.
